Children's Convention
The Children’s Convention, held this year over three days in January, brought together young attendees for an enriching and joyful experience. Each day was filled with interactive sessions and activities designed to inspire, educate, and build a strong community among the children.
The convention’s core activities included engaging Bible study sessions, where children explored key biblical stories, learned important moral lessons, and participated in discussions facilitated by teachers and volunteers. These sessions encouraged reflection, learning, and lively discussions about faith and values.
In addition to Bible study, the children learned songs that emphasized themes of kindness, unity, and gratitude. The song sessions were both a learning and bonding opportunity, as the children sang together in groups, fostering a sense of unity and joy throughout the event.
On the final day, the children had the chance to showcase their talents and learnings through various presentations. Some performed skits based on Bible stories, while others recited memory verses or presented songs they had practiced during the convention. The presentations provided an excellent platform for them to express creativity and gain confidence in a supportive environment.
One of the most anticipated moments of the convention was the cake-cutting ceremony with the bishop. Children gathered with excitement as the bishop joined them in cutting a large, beautifully decorated cake to celebrate their time together and the lessons learned during the event. The ceremony symbolized unity and joy, marking the convention’s success and leaving the children with memorable experiences and strengthened friendships.
The convention was a meaningful experience that fostered spiritual growth, creativity, and fellowship, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
